Default Is anyone using Airtel broadband or wireless Internet?

One of my friends used to have Airtel wireless connection and had lots of trouble connecting through it! But he changed to Airtel broadband and now it's much better. What is your opinion about Airtel?

airtel was holding the broadband market before bsnl revised its plans and tariffs , and updated new speeds. till that moment airtel was the best , providing decent speed and good tariff plans. but now i dont think so....

Airtel is still the best as far as I can say. Even with BSNL providing 2Mbps line still it is not popular as it has a serious LINK problem. Most areas under its coverage dont get consistent link. Hope BSNL realises it.

could be true at your place buddy !! but here at my place BSNL rocks and holds a better position ... also we dont seem to experience the link problem you are talking about. and true airtel's connectivity is good.. accepted !!! but i said i was feeling the tariff was high

Yes Airtel's tarrifs are high. But they did had a very very successfull plan which was widely popular amongst students. It had some 350rs rent for month and it gave 256kbps during day and 512 @ night. Day usage was 200MB for month and night after 9pm till 8am it was FREE.

Airtel is not available in my area. Airtel is not expanding their service zones. But whenever it will be available I will make sure that I am gonna have it at any cost.

why they are not yet expanding?
maybe because there are low demand of having their wireless connection in other part of India..
for sure they are targeting specific volume of consumers before expanding to stretch the investment they will put on it..
