i have got airtel broadband connection unlimited. i have purchased a laptop recently and would like to use the same connection for my laptop too, so that it can keep me mobile. what would you suggest as the best way to do this?

You would need a data card and a wireless router to make your laptop wireless, if your laptop has got inbuilt wireless card then just a wireless router will do.
If you just need a wireless router then Netgear would be ok as its pretty cheap and does the job very well. You can buy it for about 1200-1500Rs depending upon where you buy it from. |

it seems wired switch (a network device ) is cheaper than wireless router.
One month back i bought a wired 8 port switch 100Mbps for RS700/-. still its working fine...... i you want cheap way of sharing go far wired switch....... Regarding configuration its better to contact customer care,they encourage us to have sharing connection for home purpose no extra amount will be charged. ![]() |
