It starts at 110 because the download speed comes as spike and settles down to uniformity as soon as some time passes. If you want more speed go for a more bandwidth plan.

The only thing better than a fast broadband Internet connection, is a faster broadband Internet connection. Broadband Internet speed tests allow you to measure your current broadband speed against that of faster broadband Internet connections. There are various programs and software packages that you can purchase through which you can increase the speed of your Internet connection. You can also make adjustments to the hardware components (Upgrade processor speed and memory levels) of your system maximizing your computer’s broadband connection potential.

See actual speed is always limited by the ISP, sono mater how much you optimise your usage using any software like DAP or speed accelerators it all comes down to your network connection.
No software can provide you what you are not getting through your hardware. All it can do is optimise it.

Download accelerator are useful for downloading purpose. but they are not god, it will benefit you by 10-15 Kbps. But if you want to go for real fast internet experience go for broadband plans. Now-a-days these are really cheap.

Download accelerators have highly misconcepted. They are never accelerators but rather download managers. All they do is optimise the connection to use all bandwidth which else windows reserves for opening other websites etc.

well one thing, i would like to ask every person here on this forum, what is the basic difference between download manager and download accelerator!!! if we are clear about this.. we can do good things.

Regarding speed upgrades, i can tell u one thing, its easy to use tweaks and other illegal softwares if you are using the internet frm local cable wala... if you are dealing with companies like airtel, man, dont even try it.. initially u might got success however in the end.. its u who is going to loose big way... So just for 200-300 dont act smart which can land up u in jail..

As far as I know Airtel do not have broad band yet. You are saying that you are getting 128kbps. That is not broad band. Broadband starts from 256 kbps only.

The difference between download managers and download accelerators is that download managers manage downloads, they basically allow you to pause and resume them. Download accelerators on the other hand optimise your connection by changing generic connection settings on your os so that you get maximum benifit of your connection.

Also regarding software tweaks, they are neither illegal, nor will you get in trouble with the ISP's for using them unless you try to hack their servers or you try to steal your neighbours bandwidth.
