Airtel have also started offering 8 mpbs speed. I know that not many people have this connection as this is not a economical connection right now but still i think Airtel is the first company to provide such speed in our country.

Do you think that Airtel should provide the same speed under unlimited plan and that also under 5,000 pm?

I think this would also be costly but still it will be a good option if they do so..

I'll be happy if they provide even 2 mbps line for under 2,000 INR. I don';t even ask for thisd 8 mbps line....

But still i am sure this is not going to turn into reality in any time soon...

8 mbps would be a dream for me right now. It is damn expensive right now and more over they don't have any unlimited plan for this.

I think in next 2-3 years we would see these kind of lines at a very cheap prices, but as of today, they really are a dream for me.

Right as they have 8 mpbs connection for more then xx,xxx INR and that also under limited plan. I don';t think that they are going to provide unlimited plan any time soon. May be in next 2 years they may be providing this for under 2-3 K as an unlimited plan but this time is pretty far away right now.

Now that Dayanithi Maran is back, i hope to see some improvement in the prices and the speeds.

I was just checling out the plans in UK the other day, and an indian 1 MBps line costs the same as a Virgin Media 20 MBPs line!!! WTF???!
