Default Using multiple internet connections on a single PC - With Diagram

I moved into a new apartment and found that I have a strong signal from two wireless networks with a fast connection. I myself have a broadband connection and was gonna apply for one more line. I can't get a single line instead, because they impose a traffic limit on faster lines. I was wondering if it was possible to use all these lines at once and get a combined bandwidth on torrent downloads or any other multithreaded downloads.

To illustrate the kind of setup I plan to use, I've prepared the following diagram. Let me know if this is possible. The expense factor isn't an issue as long as it works.

If you have suggestions for a suitable load balancing router, I'll be interested to check it out.

Will a setup like this work? Will there be any issues in port forwarding?

This set up will not work.. dont waste your time and money on buying all this stuff..

There is no way a single application can use two internet connections at one given point.
The only way you can use two connections on a single computer is by using one of those teaming softwares but even with those only one connection can be used for one application. If you are downloading using torrents dont assume that there are different applications working for each connection established.

So the moral of the story is one connection for one file at a time is a hard and fast rule and there are no short cuts.

Sorry to disappoint you.

Shouldn't the existence of an additional internet connection be invisible to the operating system? The teaming is already done at the router's side, is it not?

Alright lets go one step ahead Even if the additional connection is visible to the OS, No one single application can use both the connections at one given time which will restrict the max speed to just one connection whatever the max speed it allows.

Some one please correct me if I am wrong.

Okay, so is that the only problem here? If that is the case then I wouldn't mind using multiple torrent clients for different files.

Just found out that an Edimax router with 4 WAN inputs is available for $400. So that takes out the 3 dlink routers out of this setup.

Those guys @ Edimax were kind enough to run a test for me, using BitTorrent using two lines. The router performed flawlessly and maxed out both the connections at the same time.

No special softwares were needed on the PC to bind them together (obviously). The router automatically does everything. How the load balancing works can be customized using a set of rules, based on port, IP, etc, etc.

So far everything looks great, and I'm surely buying this soon.
