Default Need help

Hi Frns!
I am new to this Forum nd I am not a technical guy.I had just applied for BSNL's Broadband services today.
I want to know few things nd I hope the experts here will help me.
I have applied for Type II modem that is one is having USB as well as Wi-Fi port
I have Acer 4710Z laptop in my office nd I had PC at home which is just above my office in same building
1.Can i aceess Internet at home PC using Wi-FI modem and if yes which lan card i have to use so that my Home PC ( Zenith PIII without any lan card) can access Wi-Fi? or my PC is not compatible for Wi-Fi?
2.I had EPBX system for Home AND office and the EPBX (matrix) had a data port so can I use that system and access Internet on every extension? if yes can u somebody tell how?

Thanks

you can purchase any wifi PCI card.. i think you should get one for like 1.5 - 2k.but considering that its one or two floors above.. im not sure on how good a signal you will get.. if your laptop is able to connect to the internet from your house.. then your desktop should be able to as well..
