the thing is i have 2 bsnl connections...one of the connection works great...but in the other one i have problem accessing gmail and i cant send mail using thunderbird (actually i can send small emails only...like which contains only 1-2 lines....).....i checked the smtp port...that was not blocked.....now i have no clue what the problem is...both the connections are of the same plan....i think its some kind of the upload speed problem...but dont know how to check it and fix it...and as usual customer care people doesnt know anything....

no reply???does that means no has a clue ???

Are you using different DNS for each connections? could you please provide the DNS you are using for each connection..

i tried using the same DNS..but it didnt help either. I have noticed, apart from my official mail, usually the sites with ajax doesnt works...and i have no clue where the problem could be..any clue would be appriciated

In my opinion there is some issue with your machine not the connection.. are these two connections set up on two different machines? I am sure they are..

You should try cleaning your cookies. this might work. The same problem was with my machine but after re-installing windows i never faced this problem again. If you like you can give it a try.

Just close your browser window and try logging in after some time. I think then you should be able to access the site.

ok after a lot of head banging...i was able to get the sites working using a smaller mtu but my mails are still the problem......
