Hi,

I was experimenting with the modem settings accessible using [url]http://192.168.1.1[/url]

At home we access net through 2 computers. And I wanted to disable one of the computers from accessing the admin interface. I added that IP to the access lists and clicked on remove. Then I enabled the "access list enabled" check box.

Since no other IPs were added to the allow access list, it is refusing connections from all IPs.

If any one is familiar with these settings please help me restore the previous settings.

I finally had to reset the router/modem.

I was using UTStarcom WA3002G4. Having a backup of previous settings saved my day !!

Lesson: never mess up with access control lists without looking into them closely.
