i am having an unlimited 256 kbps bsnl connection. currently i login to windows and dial broadband for connection everytime. since i am having unlimited plan, i want to stay connected always without dialing everytime. ie when i switch on my computer it should automatically connect to internet..

To give you complete step by step method please provide which make modem are you using.

i am using adsl wa3002-g1 modem - i think the make is UTSTARCOM

when i open [url]http://192.168.1.1/[/url] in internet explorer it says "page cannot be displayed"

Don't you think that making a new "always on" connection from network connection would be much better rather all this.
