This is collegekid on broadbandforum,in with my first brand new thread.!
Here we go..
Today i went in a BSNL office to purchase EVDO data card, same time i found one fellow who surrendered the same serice i.e. BSNL EVDO data card due to coverage issue.
First i asked Officer to issue me a EVDO data card.
"These are unavailable till 10th January 2012" he answered.
i said 'no problem'. Then i turn over to that fellow who wanted to terminate the bsnl evdo service(or may be he had already terminated last day).

I offered him 1000 bucks and asked to sell that device to me!(as new one comes for 1500 bucks) and he agreed.
but both of us are unaware about the activation and all that kindaa procedure to make device useful. Finally we went to officer and asked for the same process. He declined to answer as it wasn't his JOB.
So now i'm at home and that fella also went off with taking my cell number for further interest.

SO now my question's are....

1.CAN I TRANSFER THAT DEVICE OWNERSHIP or IS THERE ANY PROCEDURE TO DO SO(so that i can use that device without worrying) ?
Suppose i buy it from that fellow without of SIM card in it,(i don't know if device doesn't require a sim or may be it has one inbuild) would i be supposed to get one new SIM for that ?

2.CAN I GET ONE BSNL CDMA SIM AS OF USEFUL TO BE USED IN THAT DATACARD ?
say i got one from BSNL exchange! what about if that sim is EVDO enabled or not(i don't know this also) and again what about further activation?

3.IF I CAN GET NEW BSNL EVDO DATA CARD PERSONALLY FROM A STORE INSTEAD OF BSNL OFFICE ? IS IT POSSIBLE ?
and what about activation and further process if i succeed to get one from private store ?

Question series is going too long....
..So i stopped it here! Any one who answer any question would be great work and of course i'll be appreciating the same!
