You cant expect 2MBPS Unlimited connection for Rs.720 (UL 900 PLus) BSNL's is becoming more generous. Atleast you can get Home 500 and browse in the noght if you're so fed up.

I beg to differ, international rates indicate that we can get connections much faster than 2 mbps for the same price.
But you are right about the Home 500 plan. with home 500 plan you get 6 hours of unlimited downloads, or 5400 MB's at max speed, but with normal unlimited plans, you get 24 hours unlimited downloads but only 2700 MB's at max speed.
So if only downloading the maximum possible is important to you, then Home 500 is actually a better choice.

It seems that we have diverted this thread from Satz's original question.
In my opinion it is not worth getting an unlimited commercial line because a company needs to cut costs whereever possible and I would consider an unlimited connection a waste as it would almost never be utilised properly.

However, if you really need an unlimited connection , then go for a lease line, they cost prohibitively more, but are more reliable. If you cannot afford a lease line, then you probably don't need it.

For business purposes, you need to have unlimited connection if you are in software field. All your employees going online 10 hours daily for 25 days a month. That is not going to work with limited connection.

In a business, if you need a unlimited connection, then most probably your employees are abusing your connection to download personal stuff.
My cousin runs a small software firm (=~15 people). He uses BSNL, I am not aware of exact plan, but he is definately using a fixed plan. He says he has never reached the limits of his plan after he put monitering software in his office pc's.
