Default Belkin G Modem Router (Model F5D7634-4A) not connecting with BSNL

Hi
I recently bought Belkin G Modem Router (Model F5D7634-4A) to use it
with my BSNL Landline for Internet. I am facing problems while
connecting to ADSL Line. The ADSL light on Modem is blinking and
internet is not getting connected.

I called Belkin customer care, they helped me to configure the modem-router but still it was'nt getting connecting. I called BSNL Exchange, they said everything is fine from their side. Now I am stuck.

In security logs I am constantly getting the following message:
"PPPoE send PADI"

Anybody else has faced such problem? Or If anybody knows if this modem
requires any special steps for connection, I will appreciate the help.
Thanks and Regards
Nitesh

Did you check the MTU value? 1492 or lower.
