That is a past time incidence and I always shocked to count the money I have spend on that. It feels like very silly at the moment Anyhow there are many areas on this planet where people are still using dial-up, I have assumed this by stats in my Google Analytics. I just started to use dial-up in 1999.

I also started using internet in 1998 when I purchased my first computer, back then I started with Mantraonline and used to try a new ISP almost every couple of months.

I started using dial up connection 8-9 years back. At that time there was no other option, but now it will be silly using the dial up connection.
Broadband is much better.

In 2005 when spectranet came in our colony with cheap 30hrs plans. Before that i have used it 5-6months with touchtel with avg bill of around 1000Rs and buggers didn't even gave details for it.
