Default How do you access internet when you travel?

I want to know how to use a net connection using your laptop when you are traveling. I know that you can use your mobile but I think there are many other options that I am not aware of! Please provide your suggestions.

I used to have an airtel data card which is not too bad as long as you are doing very light surfing and the moment you try attaching something to an e-mail .. just keep on waiting for ages and any content rich page will take a long long time to load so I got rid of it and got a reliance netconnect card which is a lot better then the airtel gprs.

I have also used tata indicom's plug to surf thing which is not that great.. Till date I have liked reliance net connect the most.
I would love to hear from others about what they are using

What are the charges of these data cards and what limit do they have in terms of speed and data downloading? What technology do they use for connecting to the net? Thanks!

Like every mobile card you need to recharge it when it gets over
Reliance provides good flexible plans as per the users need

Has anyone used any other Internet data card? If so, please reply with the speeds that you get and what are all the costs involved? Thanks!

I tried reliance and it was really bad. I tried it on my friends laptop and we could not even log on even after trying for like 30 minutes or so. As per he told me, even when he gets logged on the speed is like dial up only.
