What's the best ISP in your opinion? I have mainly used MTNL and I am not quite satisfied with it. However, it has a plan for every type of customer and it's network is quite large. The customer care is not very efficient.

But I would still go with MTNL as there are no other better options.

the best at my place is bsnl !! everyone here seems to be stisfied with it and the connection is too good and it seems to attract customers from other isp's as well !! BSNL all the way

In mumbai we only have MTNL as the main internet provider accept from Reliance and Tata
But recently MTNL servers are under maintainence due to hackers stealing their bandwith
Otherwise,are have huge variety of plan and customer service is useless

According to me. Airtel is the best. Although, they have relativly expensive bandwidth, but the service they offer is unmatched. Last time I had problem was 2 months ago and they gave me deadline of 1:30 in noon next day. But lineman visited my house just after 20 minutes. Neither can BSNL or MTNL match this commitment.

You telecom is the best in my opinion. I used them while I was in Bangalore for 8 months and the service was very good. The customer service was really good too.

I say the best ISP is mine, dont ask for names, I dont know, But I can download at over 500 KBps at anytime and when we dont have any traffic, downloads speeds go upto 2500 KBps. How cool is that?
Unfortunately almost everything is blocked at my office so I cannot download anything wothwhile, only company stuff, but whenever I want new Linux distro, its a 20 minute job. :-)
