I have seen members here and on other forums checking their broadband speed with stupid tools and 95% of the times results are not accurate.
None of the tools check the latency with different servers located around the world so I thought I would give you the best ever broadband speed test available on the net..
You can down load it from here and install it on your computer. This is free to use with some limitations but the details it give will be an eye opener for you.

The file is about 2MB and you is attached with this thread.. you have to be a member to be able to download it and registration doesnt take more then 1 min.

You will have to unzip the file to install it

yah your tool may work but it can't be as accurate as mcafee online speed test tool
its free of cost and you dont have to wait longer just 30 sec

if you want to know the website just type speedometer in google and mcafee speed test website will be search no.1

i tried it and it looks to be the best i have ever seen.

Guys you don't have to buy this test.. the free version is equally good.

Mike, Did you try to get your money back? and mind sharing what the upload speed test is like in the paid version.. I am really tempted to buy it after using the free version for so long

Sorry to bump a super old thread, but while I was doing a search it looked like this person could use a bit of help. (Which they probably don't need anymore) Oh well.

I am sorry about your problem. There is a site I normally use for checking speed.


I had to use multiple tests to prove the same thing to my host along time ago.
