A very good friend of mine told me that 3g is all set to come to India to provide broadband services! I just want to confirm it by asking you guys. so let me know, Has anybody heared about it?

Yes, 3G is set to comy up in India. There is no official announcement that when it will come but government and some major service providers are talking to launch this facility as soon as possible.

Airtel will be the first to launch the 3G technology in India with the launch of iPhone 3G. I think they are not going to get that much good response for the iPhone but sure they will get enough good response for this nerw technology.
