hi friends i am starting this thread for those who use bsnl broadband in small districts as solapur,latur,nanded,jalgaon,chandrapur etc..the special reason is we all knew as there is major speed difference compare to pune n nagpur like big cities,i have 256kbps unlimited home plan and i get 32 kbps downloading speed any season of year n any time of day( even tried downloading 1,2,3,am),i tweak my registry settings by,reading some fancy links on net,use different torrent downloaders,download managers n things like that. well this thread is for those who dont mind sharing there views and experiments and observation so we can get best results with existing system ,without whining about how sloppy is bsnl n this sucks n all...so keep sharing

well my life gone easier since i invented firefox for webbrowsing. its kool atleast u can browse net lil untangle n quick way,by its addons its fun n fast to save time ..google ' mozilafirefox' its free

you shouldbe getting around 40 kbps -50 kbps d/u speed ... as this is what i am getting from my BSNL broadband connection at my office,.

i dont know gamon, but i checked the speed of all my friends, its near same 32 kbps downloading, i guess bsnl set little higher bandwidth for office compare to home,also they charging more for office use so it makes sense.

i want to ask a qs to all...how many use firefox explorer instead of inter net explorer? browsing speed by fire fox is quite awesome.its a quick fix to slow net speed in smaller town. also we can add the productivity by using lots of add ons ..if anyone interested i will post details after ur replyz

here is [url=http://www.mozilla.com]Mozilla | Firefox web browser & Thunderbird email client[/url], download firefox, then go on tools, addons,more addons and then in search .1)customize google- this one helps to see images directly without hitting on brouser image page in google image search 2)download helper - helps download youtube video n other flv videos 3)firegestures - this is the beauty u can click right of mouse keep pressing move left u go back,u move right u go forword,move up down page refresh n so on saves lot of time 4) fullscreen - makes page full screen,i mean totally fulscreen no browser bar also,u just move mouse on top n browsing window appears,move mouse n again page full screen 5)reload every - this sets ur page automatically refresh every 2,3,4,5, minutes as by ur needs( good for trackin cricket scores n stock market screeps)

does any one have idea or thoughts or tricks to stream youtube videos faster on firefox?
