I am mostly into ecommerce so I am just able to do some good amount of browsing on my airtel internet connection plan 999. Whenever I get time I try to download torrents and get some good music from limewire. Even when my PC is idle I try to upload content I have on my PC for sharing on p2p networks.

i basically beowse a lot and other than that downloads is also there... though not mucch can be done with my home 250 bsnl plan !!

I normally do my work as I am a full time webmaster so I use it almost 14-16 hours a day and I also use it for browsing a few sites and downloading music sometimes.

How can you survive with 250 plan man!! 1GB limit on a 2Mbps line is way too less. If I were you then I'd end up paying loads of extra for exceded usage.

Normally it's for browsing on such fantastic forums or doing some jobs to earn money on Net. Sometimes I spend my time playing flash games of my arcade sites. But I don't browse [B]Orkut[/B], it's uses lot's of bandwidth.

thats good..but Orkut Consumes Much Bandwidth ??
well, may be now because it allows Picture Scraps and stuff, it didn had much gfx thing for consuming bandwidth

If you are concerned about your download limit u need to avoid Flash/High Quality Graphics sites...

each Game might be around 1 - 3 mb(i dont knw actually) for that amount u can browse Orkut for an hour

I use it mostly for emails, browsing, maintaining my websites etc.

After connecting the broadband service, my usage has gradually gone higher..
i use it for checking mails,browsing,downloading freewares, downloading games,listening to online radio, playing games(flash games!! ), taking online lessons and tests(rarely),etc...
after all, i have to make use of all the available bytes.. i use it for all possible things..
it has become more of entertainment than necessity!!

Online radio is a very cool application of broadband. I have one english music radio station playing almost all the time I am working online.

I think people who have limited connection can't get cool benefits of DSL. I was also limited a few months back but soon I realized that I need something more. My internet appearance and resources always eat low bandwidth in a few days. I like 1 MB bandwidth and unlimited GB's . I always watch some great movies online and I know you will not believe me because I watch "Chak De India" on a such site with-in 2 days of release.
