I used to do 3-4gig of softwares everyday when I was in my college. There we had ERNET leased line and speeds were blazing as there was no ISP involved in between so we had God Damn hell cool speeds.

If I leave my downloads on for 24 hours, I can average around 35-40 GB/day. My max is around 70 GB, I filled up an entire external 80GB HDD.
But I guess I can't really compare as my connection is a commercial one.

At home I use Airtel Mobile office and average 350 MB/day.
I have downloaded 3 full DVD's in 25 days, so around 14 GB per month on dial-up. :-)

Why this thread is not very popular, come on guys this is where we can chat about the best things we did with our broadband! I used free downloading hours and downloaded around 30 gb data last month, isn't it great!!

If you talk about free downloading I downloaded somewhere around 500 mb not more than that, but if you talk about normal downloading where I get charged , I must have downloaded somewhere around 1000 mb last month.
