its not that im lazy guys.. i did do my research on the above topic but i did not seem to get a good comprehend able answer.. whats an ip proxy and what do we do with that ?

Its like having a fake address. Sometimes ISPs ban certain sites, to open those sites you can use proxies which are like fake IP addresses.

yeah there are two different ways to do so. Just use some proxy site and carry things. Or use proxy settings like IP and port address in browser.

It will hide your identity if and only if IP is highly anonymous.

As others Said it is just a Fake IP to Surf Anonymously without any blocking... But you have to be careful most of the sites doesnt want their members to use proxies like GTP sites.. if you then they will ban you
i mostly use it for Loggin in my Egold Account

whats the problem with e-gold? do they blok certain countries or what?
I have an e-gold account aswell and never had a problem with logging in from any location...

That is not proxy you are talking about. Proxy is what the previous posters told. It is like a cloaking mechanism to hide your identity.

Actually what he is talking about are also Proxy servers, just not the same kind as what the others are talking about
