i m thinking to buy hfcl connect broadband in punjab.someone told me that there is 550 unlimited plan.is that true???[url]http://www.broadbandforum.co.in/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif[/url] also i want to know what is download speed (not browsing i want to know exact download speed of files)on that plan. what are the installation charges,modem cost etc.(someone told me they give modem for free).are there any hidden costs????currently i have bsnl which sucks and very expensive for me-810rs per month.i m only a studenthttp://www.broadbandforum.co.in/images/smilies/eek.gif lol

I suggest you go with BSNL unless you already have some hfcl connections running in your locality with good speed and uptime.

As far as I have seen Hfcl connect is not the best provider in Punjab.

hmm i will try to find out.i m tired of bsnl because its slow speed i only get 20-30 kBps.it disconnects sooo much.bsnl is money sucker if u chose 250rs/1 gb limit plan u will get whooping 200kBps even on torrents but they charge heavily after that.my friend had to pay 4000 because of it.on UL 750 they dont give good speeds.i m looking for a change.airtel not available here

If reliance wimax or tata wimax is available you can give one of them a try as the initial phase of problems is gone now and wimax is running smoothly... infact I am using a tata wimax connection as well and it gives good speed due to no last mile issue being wireless.
