Default Uncapping your ADSL modem !

Have Any1 Tried Uncapping your modem sucessfully ??

i know its illegal to do it..and the consequents will be so bad that u wont get net connection by that ISP again in ur life or u may be put to jail

anyways... i found many softwares in some torrents site but im not sure how to usethem so im not working on it.. just want to share your views

What exactly is the meaning of Uncapping? Please elaborate.

Isn’t the cap actually enforced by the server software, rather than being locally based? If so unless you are able to hack the server (not at all recommended), you wont be able to get a speed boost.

Hacking a server isnt like just logging into server and changing your account. It is a lot more complex thing. Plus the servers are a lot secure.

I think we have to change in configurations of Modem and connection. This is something which ISP's don't want to reveal. I think someone can suppress current bandwidth and can use high bandwidths and download in this way. Anyhow if our ISP is doing an excellent job for us then we shouldn't go this way

That is hardly possible, seeing that all lines are capped by software at the server. You cannot uncap at your end without hacking the server, which as piyushmohan said, not very easy to do.

Sorry qaswer, but there isnt anything ISP's are hiding about modems.

may be yes but still isp will find out so theirs no use of it
dont even try for uncapping or whatever
