Hello,

I've heard several people saying that their 256 or 512 Unlimited plans are getting them upto 2mbps speeds? Could that be true (for all)?

Anyone here using 256/512 unlimited? What is your personal experience?

The speed is not at all 2MBPS.

the Day you change the plan to unlimited for 5 to 10 days you would get a good downloading speed of 158 to 200 kpbs.

After a week's time they will put you on a server where the bandwidth is limited to 25 kbps to 32 kbps if you have a 256 kbps unlimited plan.

IF its a 512 kbps Unlimited plan Max download speed you will get is 40 kpbs to max 43 or 45 Kpbs.

The plans are horrible. If u want to do unlimited browsing, Its fine.

If you are looking out for downloading movies Its of no use.

I have done several complaints to 1504 number, there helpdesk has no ears.
I have visited the MTNL exchange several times for my speed & its been so many writen complains & emails send to them, But my prayers are not answered.

Though Im not using MTNL, i am quite sure the information cannot be true. Its simply too good to be true specially for Indian ISP's!
