Compatibility of present data cards with WIMAX
I have a Reliance Netconnect CDMA 1X data card, in case WIMAX is launched in and around Delhi NCR, can this card upgrade to the new technology or will I have to buy new hardware.
Please advice ! Pulin Shah

Hi Pulin,
First of all welcome to the Broadband forum  I also have the same reliance data card and I am pretty happy with the speeds and all that but as far as the new wimax technology is concerned this data card cannot be used for wimax services and we will have to buy new equipment for that. By the way if you are not in NewDelhi but around delhi then you dont need to worry about wimax as Bsnl is going to launch a new data card which is capable of speeds up to 2mbps and will be available in 2008 some time.
