If you havent got any other option then there is hardly any point in getting revews but as far as I know the main issues like the upload isue is gone for good but people do have problems getting an ip when they try to connect and the only reliable sulution is to get a static ip which comes at a price.
By the way if it works it works fine and the day it gives you trouble please dont keep your hopes high about reliance wimax support as they are known to close tickets without resolving the issues to keep their own stats upto the mark and screwing the ustomer in the process. If you do get a reliance wimax connection please be kind and leave your review for others to read. Thanks |

its pathetic
the after supprot is terrible........ the tickets gets closed even prior to your issues getting resolved.and hence you will have to redo the whole procedure until your lady luck shine and someone takes pity on your lost internet service anyways there is not much to complain as there is no competitive service in India which can offer any good Just as we are cheated in all aspects, be it roads or security we can always bear with net service also |

Customer care my foot.
Actually I have been using reliance broadband wiMax connection for over 1 year. I took the connection somewhere in July 2008. The first few months of service reliability was truly horrible and nightmarish. Every other day connection would fail and I would call the customer care and they would tell it will get ok soon. It would. Then again it would fail. It was almost impossible to rely on it to do anything important. As it could fail anytime without notice. The customer care would assure lot of things but action was always slow. But do give some credit, the connection seems to be very good for the last few months (5-6 months). Very stable and not giving troubles. And the avg speed that I get is 300-600 kbps (around 48 - 70 kBps). I use www.speedtest.net to check my internet speeds. So this seems to be a reasonable speed in Bangalore/Indian market where everyone have tall claims with useless speeds. I pay 850.00 Rs/- per month including tax, upto 4GB free usage. But recently I just moved my computer from one room to another and the wire is not reaching, so I called the customer care, they say it is another department so i have to mail them. I mailed them and got no response for 5 days. I called back, they say you have to send some docs so they did not reply (what assoles... can't they tell me in the mail, reply back to me). I mailed with the required documents. Still no reply for 3 days. All this while Iam going crazy as I cannot use the internet and nobody cares to call or mail me about the situation. I call them again and scream at them, only to hear the same shit, "sir.. it is a diff dept... u need to mail them... did you send the docs, did you zip it? ... is it less than 4 MB?.... sorry for the inconvenience...I understand sir...." all the standard shit they are trained for. No good response from them. I'm really fed up and want to move to a different service provider. Can someone please suggest BSNL broadband or Airtel broadband connections, how they are? Are there any other broadband connections at these speeds and similar rates? Or are all of them the same, do not care, do not give a shit, claim tall, with bad connectivity?? This connection is good except that these guys have completely pissed me off, with the customer care department. Useless bunch of idiots. Swati is one supervisor, another is Sanjeev Bhatt. They tell they cannot give more details about themselves and there is not escalation process to give a written or oral complaint about their behaviors. |
