Hi Guys & Gals & ALL MY FRIENDS.
Everybody is Panic regarding Reliance WI-MAX
As i having many years of exp. in IT Industry i want to share my knowledge with you all.

1) Any new Technology takes time to be established as per Industry norms req. & cust. satisfaction

2) WI MAX is the fastest one though their are other lighting speed new Technologies emerging but right now in INDIA no service provider exist
for this as of now.

3) All service providers making money due to lack of knowledge as per Industry Standards to PUBLIC & indian Govt is foolish see our ministers list who sat on Information technology chair...... so even they dont know about single word IT & its technologies. All are

I prefer reliance because it is going for new techs & atleast introducing new technologies in india & honestly lot of investment will be done also Ambani gang making money every second who cares.....

When you lost the link then how to check i wll tell u

1) Disconnect All the 3 cables of Relience White modem.
their are Two LAN cables & one power cable
reconnect after 1-2 minute (reset required its NON technical)

2) Give the command in run menu ping <your gateway ip address> -t

3) As you get the reply for pinging then open the reliance page
give the username & password. Click on Login

Coonectivity will be UP.

***** Where problems are lies *****


1) Due to loose connectivity in cables or at antenna.
2) Antena should be on situated on most higher place where there will not be
any other high tension lines or any transformer it will affect some what on
speed. Cable from antena should be as per standard dont use cheper LAN
cable causes improper signal behaviour.
3) Get all the details from service provider i.e.
Modem configuration details, IP address complate details, SECTOR ID NO. (required if all gets damaged you will have all the details with you so Reliance tech person will know what exactly configuration will doon your end)

4) Changer the Password on monthly basis or as per your requirment.
I suggest monthly never share with any one no tech person required this.

5) If you are using router make the settings on high bandwidth share bandwidth should be check.

6) Internet connection should be On Server or DO IT on the machine which is being used minimal. I prefer Server OS like server 2003, 2008, RHEL 4, 5, Fedora, should be installed with firewall & Antivirus, is the best option

7) Monitor which sites being used in your organization most of the System admin misuses some time causes the problems from juniors or rest team & Users in that organization.

8) Now a days auto run worms attack takes havoc on every system so activate one policy on all machine in your organization i.e. Turn off Autoplay

go to run give command gpedit.msc
then go to User configuration tab select Administrative Templates select system in right pane theire is option Turn Off Autoplay select & right click on on this option go to properties in that window click on Enabled then down their select ALL drives (by default CD-Rom drives selected changed to all drives)

9) if this connection is on XP system then these patches must be installed on system WindowsXP-KB935840-x86-ENU & WindowsXP-KB941693-x86-ENU

if you are using server 2003 OS
WindowsServer2003-KB958690-x86-ENU, KB957097, KB955069, KB958687, KB958644

MUST BE INSTALLED TO MAKE SAFE YOUR SYSTEM.

I prefer Symantec Nortan Antivirus 2009, or Mecafee only these are the best products to make safe envirnment, Dont go for any local antivirus i had tested all the products from last 6 months then i came to conclusion which is suitable for you. It can not make system slow now Symantec got the idea God bless them atlast they made it ........
