Default Relaince loot

hi everyone
It's a real pain to have a relaince connection. The net was down on the next day of installation. Instead of 256 kbps ,i get hardly less than 100 kbps . In india people can do any thing , cheat people and loot their money. No one to question . We are made to pay the bill and even more without providing what we are promised. Life is becoming a hell with service providers of these sorts. Profit is always good when u r good at ur service .
i know many people who have these bitter experiences. am waiting for a airtel or bsnl connection where i can get atleast the 256 kbps or what ever connection speed they offer.

Default reliance couldnt be worse

I've recently terminated my reliance connection too - feel totally cheated for 2 reasons - the customer service doesnt really provide any proper service to the customers, the connection is much slower than it should be and the billing is much higher than what was told to me... to say "reliance sucks" is actually an euphamism.

I have friends who have MTNL triband and Hathway who say that its much better and they wouldnt change their ISP

The internet service provided by reliance @ 2000 kbs give was an actual speed of 10 kbs.

Thus a large amount is wasted by us on the internet.

Will Ambani have ears to listen this. I think "NO" he has not

Default Caution against going in for reliance broadband

I wish to bring the following facts to caution the Members of this Forum not to go in for Reliance Broadband:

1. At being persistently approached by a representative of one of Reliance Broadband franchisees in Chandigarh, I got a Broadband Connection and Fixed Line Phone installed at my residence for my personal use on the 30th April, 2008; under 75 Kbps/400 Rs. Broadband Unlimited Plan.
2. Since there was problem of outage and slow Internet speed, I filed a complaint online through the Feedback Form, but the problem persisted.
3. I opted to go in for a switch over of Plan, for which I got my request registered (No.67909965 dated 01-05-2008). The Plan was changed to 4 GB-PLAN 750 with effect from 04-05-2008).
4. However, there was no connectivity for long hours and also the Internet speed was not upto the mark. I got my complaint noted vide No.68272727 on 07-05-2008.
5. But since the problem persisted, I got my request for Termination of the Connection registered on the 9th May, 2008 (vide No.68332750).
6. However, nobody bothered to collect the equipment. It was only after having spoken to a couple of customer care representatives on 17-05-2008 and, that a person came to my residence for collecting the Modem and Telephone Set on 23-05-2008.
7. Meanwhile, I had received a Bill (No.281154216820 dated 11-05-2008 for the payment of Rs.313.71 (after deduction of the installation charges of Rs.500).
8. However, when a representative of the firm rang me up on 26-05-2008 regarding the payment of the outstanding amount of the bill, I explained to him regarding poor connectivity and extremely slow Internet speed during the 7 days I was able to use the Broadband, and moreover the connection had since been got terminated, he told me that it would be alright if I paid Rs.213. Since I found it to be a reasonable settlement, I paid the amount to the collection boy sent to my place for the purpose.
9. I thought that the issue was resolved for good. But I was taken aback on receiving another Bill (No.281205567156 dated 11-06-2008) for Rs.228.44. Since the Termination was effective from 09-05.2008, I find that charging of any amount beyond that date is not appropriate. I have been receiving calls about the payment of the said sum, but due to the unreasonableness of the case, I have not paid this amount.
10. I am wondering if some senior Nodal Officer of the firm shall intervene in the matter to resolve the issue once for all so that I am saved from undue harassment and mental agony.

Reliance is surely the loot. I have seen their prices which looks a little expensive if you look in deeply and more over their service is really bad. There are lots of unsatisfied customers from REliance and company have done nothing to solve their problems.

The main drop back with reliance is that they are not providing the services they are promising which is not good for such a big and reputed company. Many people fell looted and i think that it will be nice if they do something about it.

Till i was a customer i also feel looted because of their data card which i was using, which was just good for nothing.

Reliance is yet to establish itself in I.T sector. People do blieve in this company and that is the reason they purchase connection from them but Reliance is not delivering what promise while a new connection.

I hope to see an improvement from Reliance Customer care in next few years.

Hi!

I totally agree with you. Indian companies are really not socially responsible and do not follow ethics in carrying out thei ractivities.

And reliance leads the charts in fooling customers!
