I just got some brochures of new reliance wired broadband. Though plans are fairly reasonable. I would like to ask reviews about its QoS as compared to othre providers like airtel and reliance.

I use reliance at home and I am absolutely satisfied with its performance. I tried airtel in the past but it is ver very slow.

both airtel and reliance seem to provide the same speed ... but airtel would be a better option when compared btn these 2 . Also i feel reliance could only be a good provider while on the move and not for desktops .

Another friend of mine today thorughly disreccomended me using reliance. Due to their heavy traffic on network due to free calls they give, their Internet sucks!!

There are different reviews from different people here. Some of you went in favor and some went against. I think we need to be informed well and we should wait a bit before going further with this. I need some authenticated opinion on this.

They have different networks for voice calls and internet, voice shouldnt affect interent speed

Though I dont think they are doing this, they might be routing internal calls through their internet links to reduce load on their mobile networks.

Isnt doing that illegal? they might be penalised for it. They jave to provide seperate dedicated connections for both.

Many of my friends have an airtel internet connection. I couldn't get one because we don't have airtel cable around my place. If we compare both Reliance and airtel, airtel would be a better choice. As they not only provide a better speed with more download limit, but they also provide better tariff schemes. And above all they provide a more consistent service.

Reliance has improved big time on speed and all, their customer support has also been changed for good, They are providing very high speed internet these days! You must try it.
