Broadband Forum

I have search about Reliance Broadband everywhere and i have just found a large number of negative reviews about them. I don't know about this company as i have not used any of their services but seeing these large number of negative reviews I don't think that i am ever going to use them.

What are you opinion about them.

Most people who post about problems with an ISP have had a problem with them so their post will be negative. I have Reliance Wimax due to the fact that there is no landline where I live. I've had it since May 08 and it has been down a total of maybe 1 week. Every time I have called their customer service I have received very good service and usually a Tech calls within a few hours to see if the problem has been resolved. If it hasn't been resolved, they are at my house within a short time. I am from the US and live in India with my family so I think I can give a fairly unbiased estimation of their services.

The Service is bad, I dont know about rest of India, but its pathetic in Pune, I have paid up 20 days back and after numerous follow-ups, Reliance tells me it might not be technically feasible, the Tower not being in Line-of-sight(mind you they dont even give you the actual reason....dont know?) and the irony is that even after admitting failure(very ungraciously!!) they also have the gall to say that the refund is going to take more than a month...talk about poor service, I think the intention here is more to earn interest rather than provide service. Reliance people in Pune do not even bother to answer their phones after being asked a couple of uncomfortable but totally justified questions about their Service commitments

Suggest stay away from Reliance if you are in Pune

Thats because reliance doesnt match upto the high level of expectations.

They arouse hopes in the minds of the users by promising high speeds, quick installation etc. but once the user buys their product, they dont bother entertaining complaints!

I remember when I purchased their one of first CDMA phone for RS. 23000/-
They just looted money. Gave a black and white crap handset with so called "Video" feature. Lol
Since I decided not to turn to them again as old saying
"He cheat me, shame on him. He cheat me again, shame on me!"

See this ... another example of poor customer service 74% of people DID NOT RECOMMEND Reliance...

Never dealt with customer care hence no comments about them, but i can say the connection is good and highly stable in kolkata where I live. And as for people posting negative in forums, I think most people visit the forums only to complain or get their problems solved. People with good connections hardly feel the need to visit forums and are happy doing othr stuffs.
