Cant Open Rapidshare using Relaince
HI All
Im using reliance NEtconnect broadband, all of sudden i cant access somewebsites eg rapidshare.com  I tried to open the same website using same datacard in other computer but still i cant access. however the same can be accessed by other ISP!!!!! Also what i noticed is if i open the website with IP address then it opens!!!! Looking forward for u r replies  Cheers Chandu

Exact same problem - Unable to access Rapidshare through Reliance
Chandu man exact same problem here. Since today I am unable to open rapidshare.com via Reliance. Checked each and every system setting I have, disabled firewall, flusehd DNS, uninstalled antivirus, checkd hosts file. NO LUCK. Seems Reliance's server has blocked Rapidshare for some reason.
I have already filed a complaint with thier Broadband customer support. I think you should do the same. May be if more people complain about the same issue, they will get up early and start taking some action about thier damn servers . Raise you voice. Protest !....I am doing the same.

Hi Jafru, buddy please call there customer support and raise a complaint. More complaints will help in getting the ban removed. thanks.

they say that probably I am the only one facing this and are not ready to accept that thier server or admins can never ban a website. We need more complaints specifically regarding rapidshare to get the ball rolling.

yes it works
guys i had the same problem and did whatever u all did ...along with that i also pinged the rapidshare server ....surprisingly it showed no host with such name exists...but this dns stuff has worked for me immediaetely ...guy i just wanted to know that i have been using cdma 1 x and earlier i kept my dns address spaces vacant ....now that i am using the dns address how will or will it make any difference ?
simply stationg i just want to know how can it make a difference ?plz help ...and i am also going to register a complain in reliance and guys should i tell them that when i am using a dns address it is working ...i mean i dunno whether using a dns address is legal or not ...i am clueless about it ...plz help
