Some people need to work in extreme areas and do not have access to normal means of communication. For those people, satellite communications are a godsend.
While, I am not aware of the name of the company whose service we were using, the review should still be usable as the experience should be similar for any company.

This form should be avoided unless there are no other measures possible because satellite internet is very irritating. Latencies are so bad that you actually start to miss dial-up. Pages take ages to open and don't even think of playing any online games. I cannot comment on download speed as I never had any oppurtunity to download anything.

Also configuring the terminal is a pain. Even a slight change in angle can cause a drastic loss of bandwidth and weather conditions also affect you.

Price of Vsat terminals begin from Rs.25000 and rates maybe as high as Rs. 40 per min.(This has never been verified as I have never seen the bills, my company paid for them.)

It has been a long time since I have used this, so there may have been improvements. Recommended only for people who have no other choice.

Man, I think there is some mistake with your details,'cause the rate can not be Rs 40 per minute and slight change in angle does not produce change in bandwidth but produces distortion in signal.
