Sify has launched a first of its kind WiMAX solution with mobility features, in collaboration with Proxim wireless Corp. Sify has deployed Proxim's Tsunami MP.11 WiMAX product line as the core communication platform, using the 5.8 GHz frequency band to offer Internet access, voice and video broadband services to enterprises and end consumers, in over 200 locations in India.
