I would like to have your opinion on the sify broadband service
Some say it is really a nightmare while other are happy using sify

I haven't tried sify,need your opinions

yash bhai... they have the same plans everywhere.. except the plans keep changing only in one criterion which should be speed . And as far as the customer service is concerned... they are not too bad !! but the speed sucks as they are still followers of 64kbps as a tradition... but credit must be given to them a they wer e the fore runners of broadband...

I am agreed in the sense that almost companies have the same package. Difference is only their services. If someone is happy with sify then there is nothing better than it. We can say it a psychological effect also.

Sify home plans are good, but they are not good for Cyber Cafe's

Why are they not good for Cyber cafe's? I am thinking of opening one as a side business and would like to know your opinion of them.

It all depends on the your luck, like if you know someone from the company who can provide your reliable after sale service then it will be good to go with it and if not then don't relay on the company that you are going to get any good response in terms of any problem.

Sify is a nightmare. Some of my friends have used it and they paid huge amount of installation charges and more over when ever they got any problem they had to solve it by themselves or bribe a local technician to solve the problem.

Id say you're lucky you haventtried it yet! Its definitely a nightmare. The connectivity is pathetic and the speed is as good as a turtle!
