How much does using tata data card affect battery life? I am talking aboout laptops here. Desktop users need not reply

I've been using Reliance Datacard for while now... I have'nt noticed much difference in battery life on my laptop. It normally gives upto 4 hrs backup, and with datacrd plugd in and connected to internet, it will last more than 3.40 hrs, i havent checkd the exact difference, may be i'll check it soon nd let u know.

I think there is about 8-10% reduction in battery life while using [URL="http://www.broadbandforum.co.in/blog/6/reliance-data-card/"]reliance data card[/URL], might be a little more may be but its not a noticeable change in my opinion.

Hi there! there is hardly any impact of Tata indicom Plug to surf USBs on the battery life of your laptop. The impact is almost negligible and you would not be able to measure it!!

I dont think that their is any effect on your battery life. I think you can hardly see any difference. Like if you have a laptop with 1 hours battery backup then i am sure that with data card it wil just take 1 or two minutes off your backup life.

It will have a little effect on the battery life but not that much. I think it will take some 1-2% of your battery life. This is my personal experience..
