TATA have recently reduced their installation prices from 500/- to 250/-. I think this is a good step to get some more customers but i don't think that there this act would last that long as they are still back in terms of customer care.

My sincere advice would be to check with other service providers for broadband even if TATA is offering you free connection. Their support staff is pathetic and forget about the connectivity. You will be spending more on making calls to their support centers and logging complaints that you would have paid for the broadband.

Call to 121 that is the tollfree no.... and get it connected to customer care and tell them to send one of the executive for installation of the broadband

Thats a great step according to me. The others not only charge hig installation price but also dont giev good customer service. So Tata is giving atleast 1 good thing!
