There are a few wifi clubs at newdelhi where people have got unsecured wifi networks and friends can come and log on for free and they do the same in return. There is a huge international network of these people as well and they all have unsecured wifi networks so every members can just come and access their internet connection any time.

If you know about placves in Delhi here there are unsecured wifi networks please feel free o share them here

I have heard about Wi-fi connection but what is an unsecured Wi-fi? I suppose there would be a lot of money involved in setting up a Wi-fi network! Do these places work like a cyber cafe without payment?

No all it takes is a wifi router and just make it unsecured so that anyone around you can log on without having the need of a user name or password.

Yeh you can say its an open cyber cafe without any charges but there are not tables or chairs you just run into one while travelling and just park your car and do your work inside the car or may be if there is a coffee shop very close to the place try popping in and see if the network shows up inside.. and bingo you use the net for free

Hey, this concept sounds very interesting! But don't you think people can misuse this if they don't require a username and password? However, I would love to see these kind of places to grow in our city so that we can have a seamless connection at least at some places and it would be great if we can use it in the comfort of our car of while relaxing in a park!

seems to be a great idea !! i came to know that bsnl is going to provide commercial wifi to ppl in india. and the first set up and trial is going to take place in tamil nadu ( trichy ) . they are going to use the cell phone towers for this service !! nice isnt it ?

hey actually , this kinda stuff, that is logging on to a an unsecure wifi is serious offense in foreign nations . that is... even if you use private wifi networks , there will be spots in and around your home and people can log on to the internet when they try to access at these spots !! that is serious offense... as they can easily gain access to important data

Wifi is mainly used in huge companies and networking areas but it used unauthorized at various areas now-a-days
Wifi can make a guy rich in one night,it is really easy to hack a bank using the wifi technology and no one acn track you

I went to Ansal Plaza yesterday and I was surprized to see that my Sony Ericsson P990i was catching Wifi signals there. Though speed was just browsing speed. but coverage was fantastic. All the corners were covered maybe due to less walls and glass. Also IGIA airport is wifi enabled.

I dont think it is called unsecured wi-fi. It is free wi-fi access. Is that right?

and wow ... wish i knew how to do it.. maybe this concept would be used in dhoom 4 ... but this is true.. i once saw a program on discovery demonstrating how insecure wifi could be ..
